Load Table Load Customers from a SAP ERP Table​

We demonstrate how to load data customer masterdata directly from KNA1 and ADRC. We further show you in this example how you can use our extension together with Google Cortex to quickly build a reporting view on many different SAP tables.

BW Query Understand and Execute a BW Query​

In this example we show how to find details about Characteristics and Key Figures of a BW Query. We show hot to set variables on a query and gradually drill down into the data. We try to guide you how to transition from Analysis for Office to DuckDB.

You will need:

  • DuckDB
  • ERPL BW Extension
  • Access to an SAP BW or BW/4 system
  • A BW user, which is allowed to execute the query. (You can check e.g. with Analysis for Office)

RFC Delta replicate stock data from SAP ERP to Parquet​

You see here, how to use default ODP extractors to to delta / replicate stock data from ECC/ERP to DuckDB and there into Parquet. And how this can then be integrated into a serverless data pipline in the cloud.

You will need:

  • DuckDB
  • ERPL ODP Extension
  • Access to an SAP ERP system, an CDS view or BW system with ODP enabled
  • A user with relvant authorizations to access the ODP extractors

APE Replicate a CDS entity to Parquet, deletes included​

How to keep a warehouse table in step with a CDS entity in SAP — including rows that were deleted, which the ODP path above cannot report. Uses SAP's ABAP Pipeline Engine and its trigger-based change capture, and covers what to do when the job dies mid-stream.

  • ERPL
  • Access to an SAP system with the ABAP Pipeline Engine available
  • A user with the ZERPL_APE role, and free batch work processes for the first run
